Our Mission

Top Priority Community Outreach Services, Inc. is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 not for profit organization. We promote successful and healthy living by focusing on the wrap around effects and engaging the entire family and community. In addition we teach applied behavior skills to health services professionals to improve patient outcomes through improved adherence.

Our Commitment to Patient Care

To reach and serve patients in our communities through:

  1. Improving outcomes and adherence in the patients we serve
  2. Use applied behavioral transition skills as an adjunct to our clinical expertise
  3. Reduce the incidence of re-hospitalization following discharge
  4. Teaching parents and professionals how to reinforce adherent behavior
  5. Educating and empowering colleagues to improve patient outcomes
  6. Researching better ways to educate patients and professionals in adherence improvement

Based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis

We provide a variety of life-changing programs and services to individuals and families throughout North Carolina.  Our organization collaborates and networks with other organizations to facilitate the type of events and programs needed to encourage youth, families, and individuals to rise above their circumstances with a “spirit of excellence”.

 

To date, many individuals are presented with increased unemployment, violence & domestic abuse, gang violence, family problems, youth peer pressure, drug & alcohol abuse….. and the list goes on.  Let’s face it, no one wants to be homeless, lose their job or family, or be deprived of proper educational, employment and empowerment opportunities.  However, things do happen and we need to develop ways to successful address situations with productive outcomes. This will not only benefit the individual receiving the service but it will in return benefit their family, neighborhood, community and our nation.   

 

We were founded by Sharon P. Johnson, Founder and President/CEO of Top Priority Care Services, LLC. Currently, she serves as the Chairwoman, Board of Directors and has stayed committed to funding Top Priority Community Outreach Services and the programs offered.
